On December 31, 2010 the Okanagan Research & Innovation Centre (ORIC) and Okanagan Science and Technology Council (OSTEC) amalgamated to form the Accelerate Okanagan Technology Association ("Accelerate Okanagan").
The mandate of Accelerate Okanagan is to increase the number of high-growth technology companies across the Okanagan by making the region one of the best places to start and grow a technology company.
Accelerate Okanagan focuses on helping to develop and support a vibrant entrepreneurial, creative and innovative technology community throughout the Okanagan.
